The Ebony and Mike love story all began at the Park on South Lamar. (RIP to that establishment) It wasn’t the nightlife that brought us together because we were both, actually working there at the time.

Ebony was bartending at the restaurant and Jordan Goff frequently made Mike visit with him. They called it “working from home”.

During those visits they would “work” at the bar when Ebony was actually working. Over the years we all became friends which soon blossomed into love for Mike and Ebony.

In 2020 COVID shut the world down, but it opened the floodgates of love for Ebony and Mike. Social distancing was highly recommended, however they still found time to hang out “6 feet apart”.

Eventually they did get their act together and decided it was time to be fully official. During those years they found out information that Ebony’s job would be closing and Mike decided that he also needed a fresh start.

We had moved from a bustling city to a quiet slower pace, in hill country.

At this point it seemed our love couldn’t get any stronger but, surprise! It did. We were blessed to find out we were pregnant with a beautiful baby girl. Olivia Taylor Meador.
